I received some good stuff for my God Tier cosplay these past two days.

First, I got my contacts. Let me just say, I was absolutely terrified at first since I've never worn contacts. Well, it took me about a half an hour to get them in and it doesn't really show up well on my camera because of lighting and other problems. But oh well here's what they look like:

Then, I got my God Tier hood
and my tights. I am extremely happy with the hood but I was slightly disappointed with the tights since they need to be stretched out before I go to the con. But anyways, here are some pictures that I took:

God Tier Ears

So, while debating if I would cosplay as Jade Harley's God Tier, I tried to make ears for the cosplay. I took my Rainbow Dash ears and an old stuffed panda and cut the back off of the puppet like this:

Once I finished getting the fabric off of the panda, I cut the piece in half and shaped the ears then sewed them on to get the finishing product here:

I am pleased with the product and I am going to be recieving some of my materials in the upcoming weeks. Here is a list of all of the things I have and need for the cosplay.

Mallstuck

So I thought that this weekend was very productive myself. On Friday, two of my friends and I made T-shirts for our Homestuck cosplays. I made a crappy Jade shirt because it was one of my first times making a shirt. My one friend Meaghan cosplayed as Nepeta and my other friend Amy cosplayed as Rose. Well, the next day, we went to Dunkin Donuts and then to the mall in our cosplays. Here were some pictures from the mall:

Jade Harley!

So, I've recently started reading a webcomcic called Homestuck (©Andrew Hussie) and like any other fangirl, I wanted to cosplay as one of the many characters. I picked the character Jade Harley and over the weekend, my friends and I are planning to go to the nearby mall and walk around in our Homestuck  gear. I got my wig yesterday and I'm receiving my glasses today. I will update the blog later but for now, I'll show you my pictures form yesterday. I wanted to throw together a quick closet cosplay so I used my old graduation dress and grabbed a long sleeve black shirt. Hopefully, I'll be able to make one of Jade's T-shirts but for now, I had to manage with that. I'm also going to get green contacts to make my eyes the color of Jade's. I'm planning on going to AnimeNEXT in June with my two other friends and we may cosplay as Homestuck characters there. Here are some pictures of my wig:

The picture on the left is what my eyes normally look like and the picture on the right is what my eyes will hopefully look like with the green contacts.

I would also like to add that when I received the wig, it was parted oddly, so it appeared as if one side was longer than the other. But a couple hours later, I realized that if I parted it differently, it would be the same size on both sides.

The Death of the Doctor Who Challenge

Sorry I haven't been posting on this blog for a while. My life has kind of been hectic for the past couple of weeks. I've been going through a lot and honestly, I didn't have the time or energy to post blogs. But now I'm back and I am stating that I am not doing any more of the Doctor Who 30 Day Challenge.

Doctor Who 30 Day Challenge- Day 24, 25, and 26

Let me just say that this weekend has been exhausting for me. So, I missed two days but I'm making up for it today.

Day 24- Whatever Tickles My Fancy

Funny Gif

Day 25- Favorite Who Actor

This is about the ten-billionth time I'm going to say this but my favorite Who actor is:

David Tennant

I picked Tennant for obvious reasons explained in my other posts. Also I fan-girl to the extreme when he wears glasses. SWOON

Day 26- Favorite Who Actress

Like I said before countless times:

Billie Piper

She was my first companion and she created such a great connection and love that made your heartache when you bid her farewell.
